READING REACTION 2: WHAT OUR THE GOOD AND THE BAD WITH DEALING WITH KIDS? WHY?

My name is Derrick Amstadter and I have babysitted my llittle brother and his friends on and off for a long time, and it is mostly fun, but everything has a good and a bad to it, the only bad part was when they do not get there way they would start pouting and I would have to give them a time out, but all kids act dilfferently so sometimes it is hard to keep them all happy, so I learned to keep them all busy buy playing games with everybody and not to leave anybody out, I like watching them at this age because they are learning so much, so I tought them about responsibility and sharing and to work together, and I also help them with there school work and etc, and if they do really good we will go to the park and play, witch they love because I let them do stuff they usually can't do with there parents but I make sure that everyone is extremly carefull and that they behave really good, I think It works out pretty good because I talk to them like adults and they like that because it makes them feel older, and I also like watching them because society is crazy and I rather them be with me then out in the streets roaming around getting in trouble or even getting really hurt.

WRITE ABOUT A FAVORITE MEMORY FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD. TRY TO USE AS MUCH DETAIL AS POSSIBLE.

When I was about three or four years old my mom always took us to the park to ride our bikes, she would bring my brother and some of our friends, and it just so happens I was the youngest out of the group and the only one with training wheels, and when we would ride they would ditch me because I could not keep up with the older kids and they would always make fun of me because of the training wheels and this happened almost every day. Then one day it was just me and my mom and it was a nice summer day so I talked her into going to the park and letting me try to ride the bike without training wheels on, she was hesitent at first becuse she thought I was rushing into it to early but she new I was tired of the other kids teasing me and that I wanted to keep up with them. So she took them off, I hopped on that bike so quick and was off I felt like I was a natural I don't think I even fell once, I told my mom not to tell any body bacause I wanted to surprise them. The next day we went to the park and started to ride, they took off quickly like usual to ride laps around the park they thought they ditched me but when they turned around I was still with them and then they noticed I took off the training wheels and ever since then I was able to keep up with them and I was not considrered the baby any more.
